Souls are subject to injury. And, unfortunately, the children of Ukraine received these injuries. But there is something we can do to help children who have suffered psychological trauma caused by war. Bosphorus Development continues to operate within the framework of a charitable project to help children overcome traumatic experiences, integrate them and direct energy towards development.
These days, a children’s rehabilitation camp was held in Istanbul for 40 children of dead, wounded and captured Ukrainian policemen and children of the Defenders of Ukraine, who protect Ukraine from Russian aggression. This holiday is organized by the Consulate General of Ukraine in Istanbul, the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of the National Police of Ukraine, companies in Türkiye and Bosphorus Development.
The children had the opportunity to visit one of the biggest local tourist attractions – the Istanbul Aquarium, one of the three largest aquariums in the world, where 15,000 representatives of marine fauna and land creatures coexist. This incredible walk through the themed routes and tunnel made an incredible impression, where visitors watched sand tiger sharks and stingrays swim by. This memory will definitely always be happy: with unforgettable impressions, shades of children’s laughter and noise.
We are sure that the positive emotions received there will remain with the children for a long time.
And we are grateful to the children for not being afraid to open their hearts and give us incredible mutual love.
