On June 9, the Bosphorus Development team joined as a guest to the one of the most anticipated events of the year in the fields of real estate development, architecture, and urban planning — the LUN Misto 2026 Conference. The event took place at VDNH in KYT, a newly renovated pavilion spanning more than 4,000 square meters and serving as a vibrant venue for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration.

The conference brought together the people and organizations shaping the future of Ukrainian cities. Representatives of government institutions, municipalities, development companies, architectural studios, industry associations, journalists, and urban experts gathered to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing modern cities, as well as the strategies needed to create sustainable and people-centered urban environments.

One of the key themes of this year’s conference was the concept of human-centered urban development. Modern cities are no longer defined solely by buildings and infrastructure. They are living ecosystems where people work, raise families, build businesses, connect with communities, and create their future. As a result, the focus of urban development is increasingly shifting toward improving quality of life and creating spaces that genuinely meet the needs of residents.

Today, high-quality development extends far beyond the construction of square meters. It involves the creation of complete living environments that integrate thoughtfully designed public spaces, modern services, reliable infrastructure, and opportunities for community engagement. These principles are becoming essential standards for the future of real estate and urban planning in Ukraine.

Particular attention during the conference was given to successful Ukrainian projects that are already setting new benchmarks for city development. Discussions highlighted the integration of innovative technologies into urban environments, the creation of inclusive and accessible public spaces, and the development of projects designed around the everyday needs of people. These examples demonstrated how collaboration between the public and private sectors can drive meaningful and lasting urban transformation.

The event concluded with the official LUN Misto Awards 2026 ceremony, which celebrated projects, teams, and initiatives that are making Ukrainian cities more comfortable, modern, resilient, and inclusive. The awards recognized the outstanding contributions of municipalities, businesses, civic organizations, architects, and urban professionals who work every day to improve the urban experience and create better places to live.

For Bosphorus Development, participation in LUN Misto 2026 was an opportunity to engage with industry leaders, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights into the future of urban development. The event reinforced the importance of innovation, collaboration, and responsible development in shaping cities that are not only functional but also inspiring and sustainable.

We would like to thank the organizers of LUN Misto 2026 for creating a powerful platform for professional dialogue and knowledge sharing. It was an honor to be part of a community of forward-thinking professionals who are not simply building cities, but actively shaping a higher quality of life for future generations.

Bosphorus Development remains committed to supporting progressive approaches to development and implementing solutions that contribute to comfortable, safe, and sustainable urban environments. Together, we continue to build spaces that reflect the evolving needs of people and the future of modern cities.
